Indiantown FL – Personal Injury Attorney – Divorce Attorney

Indiantown, Florida. Fast Facts, Hospitals and Family Court

The rural community of Indiantown Florida was originally established as a trading post by the Florida Seminoles. It was later settled by American migrants in the 1890s. By the 1920s, Indiantown built an extension of the Seaboard Air Line Railway from Coleman, Florida to West Palm Beach. The plan was to make Indiantown the southern hub of the Seaboard rail line. Toward that end was built the Seminole Inn, which still stands, and is now on the National Register of Historic Places.

In addition to the Seminole Inn, other places of historical significance include Warfield Elementary School, named after S. Davies Warfield, and Payson Park, one of the top Thoroughbred horse racing facilities in the United States.
